Regent incumbents hold seats, will welcome Sharkey in January. Voters returned incumbents Steve Bosley and Michael Carrigan to the University of Colorado Board of Regents, which also will welcome one newly elected member, Sue Sharkey, early next year. (More)
New ventures highlight forum. UCCS will collaborate with CU Boulder in a molecular biotechnology initiative, campus leaders announced during a Friday forum highlighting strategic initiatives. (More)
Veterans Day to feature open house. UCCS will celebrate Veterans Day with a series of events Nov. 11. (More)
Fanfare to surround WTC beam transport. A procession of fire, police and military vehicles will carry a piece of one of the most tragic events in U.S. history from UCCS to the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station Nov. 19. (More)
Leaders share peek into college, university workings. Pikes Peak Community College and UCCS share many issues including increasing enrollment and declining funding levels, CEO's of El Paso County's public higher education institutions told a group of business and community leaders this week. (More)
