First fall forum focuses on enrollment, links to budget. It takes an estimated 40,000 student contacts to net a UCCS freshman class of a between 1,100 and 1,200 students, according to Homer Wesley, vice chancellor for student success and enrollment management. (More)
Caution urged during upcoming political season. UCCS faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in upcoming elections but must be aware of the Colorado Fair Campaign Practices Act and restrictions on the use of university resources. (More)

Kee Warner to lead State Fair Fiesta Parade. Kee Warner, associate vice chancellor for diversity and inclusiveness for UCCS, will be the grand marshal for the 44th Annual Fiesta Day Parade Sept. 5 in Pueblo. (More)
Supplier showcase scheduled. The Procurement Service Center is planning an event to showcase new products offered by authorized CU vendors and for faculty and staff to ask questions about procurement policies and procedures. (More)

Veteran coach to lead women's basketball team. Corey Laster, most recently an assistant at NCAA Division I Bucknell University, is the new UCCS women's basketball coach. (More)
Anderson joins National Institute of Science, Space and Security Centers. A retired U.S. Army lieutenant general will lead grant and contract development for the National Institute of Science, Space and Security Centers at UCCS. (More)
New instructors join faculty ranks. There are 15 new instructors who recently joined UCCS in non-tenure track faculty positions. (More)
Academic honor society recognizes campus chapter. The national council of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for First Year College students, based in Macon, Ga., recently awarded its Delta Award at the gold level to the UCCS chapter. (More)
