Cliff gets bigger; chancellor, UBAC promote understanding. UCCS to program downtown gallery. UCCS will begin its artistic management of the art gallery space located at 121 N. Tejon in the Plaza of the Rockies building, UCCS, representatives of Nor’wood Development Group and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center announced today. (More)

First H1N1 clinic draws orderly crowd. More than 580 members of the campus community, mostly students, received vaccinations to prevent the H1N1 flu Wednesday. (More)
Science and Engineering earns design award. The Science and Engineering Building recently earned a first place Colorado Sustainable Design Award in the commercial building category. (More)
Next Communique. Communique will not publish next week in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. The campus will close Nov. 26 and 27. The next edition of Communique is scheduled for Dec. 4.

Molly Kinne, associate director, Residence Life, was elected as regional advisor for the Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls at the group's regional conference on Nov. 14 at Northern Arizona University.
Robert Bode, currently financial aid director for Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, Minn., will direct the Office of Financial Aid, Student Employment and Scholarships at UCCS. (More)
