Senators introduce legislation to expand Troops to Teachers Program. Two U.S. senators and three U.S. representatives introduced legislation this week that could expand a program that helps members of the Armed Forces become K-12 teachers. (More)

Integrated Student Information System project positions campus for future. Three milestones in a CU System-wide project to upgrade, replace and expand student information systems were recently reached. Updates will appear regularly in Communique. (More)

Students in the UCCS Professional Golf Management program finished fourth in the 2009 Jones Cup competition Oct. 14 in Port St. Lucie, Fla. A total of 100 golfers from 20 teams participated in the 36-hole competition.
