Greetings Students, Staff & Faculty

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs’ Holiday Service Project for 2008 begins November 12th.  This project is an opportunity for our campus to provide added enjoyment to UCCS’s student, faculty and staff community during the holidays.  There are several ways you may help.

Adopt-a-Family – Departments, individuals or clubs can “adopt” a family.  A shopping list will be provided to assist you.

Holidrop Boxes – With donations from the boxes located around campus, our intent is to provide the “fixings” for a wonderful holiday dinner for each participating family. Household products, nonperishable, non-expired food and new toys will be greatly appreciated.

Giving Trees – Individuals are welcome to take a gift tag from one of the decorated trees that are located in the University Center Lobby, Bookstore, University Hall, Main Hall, Dwire Hall and Columbine Hall and purchase a gift that the parent, child or entire family can enjoy.

$$Cash/Check Donations – Any size donation is appreciated.  Secure cash donation boxes will be located in the following areas: The Bursar’s Office, Bookstore, University Center Information Desk, University Hall, Parking Front Desk, Financial Aid, IT Help Desk in El Pomar Center, Jazzman, LAS Dean’s office, Library, Dwire at the Coffee Cart and Monarch Campus Housing Front Desk. All cash will be used to purchase gift cards, additional food and gift items. Checks can be made payable to Holiday Service Project.

To adopt a family, donate cash, volunteer or nominate a recipient please contact either Sheryl Botts (4074) or Beverly Kiselich (4065).

Thank you for your participation!
