Graduate School to host open house

Individuals interested in additional education in preparation for a career change or advancement are encouraged to attend an open house for graduate studies Nov. 13 at UCCS.

From 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the University Center, representatives from UCCS graduate programs will be available to answer questions about admission requirements, deadlines, and to provide program-specific details.

The event is free and parking is available at no charg in Lots 3 and 4 between 5 and 7:30 p.m..

UCCS offers 19 master’s degrees and four doctoral degrees from its six colleges, the College of Business and Administration, College of Engineering and Applied Science, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, College of Education, School of Public Affairs and the Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Graduate studies are for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are interested in additional studies in that field or new learning, often in preparation for career change or advancement. Most of the approximately 1,400 UCCS graduate students attend classes part-time. The average age of UCCS graduate students is 34 years old.
