Don’t eat the glue. UCCS Staff Council holds school supply drive.

Providing children with new school supplies is a difficult financial task for some families.

In an effort to soften this reality, and help children go back to school with confidence and an extra spring in their steps, the UCCS Staff Council is holding a school supply drive now through Sept. 15.

Drop boxes for supplies (a full list of supplies needed can be found below) are located at the UCCS Library, University Center, University Hall, Columbine Hall and the 1st floor stairwell in Main Hall. There are also cash donation boxes at the bookstore, bursar desk, the University Center help desk and Ent Federal Credit Union.

So, next time you find yourself at a local discount or office supply store, smell the crayons, spell funny words with the calculators, and buy some much-needed school supplies for a local student. Just don’t eat the glue.
