Promotions and tenure announced
The CU Board of Regents approved tenure for 11 faculty members at the June 4 meeting and promotions were awarded by Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak to 13 individuals for the 2008-2009 academic year.
The board will consider additional tenure awards at the August meeting.

- Dick M. Carpenter, associate professor, Education, with tenure.
- Minette Church, associate professor, Anthropology, with tenure.
- Malinda “Lindy” Crawford, associate professor, Education, with tenure.
- Fernando Feliu-Moggi, associate professor, Languages and Cultures, with tenure.
- Lori James, associate professor, Psychology, with tenure.
- Michael Kisley, associate professor, Psychology, with tenure.
- Maria Steen, associate professor, Languages and Cultures, with tenure.
- Gregory Stock, associate professor, Business, with tenure. (newly hired)
- Laura Tesman, associate professor, Visual and Performing Arts, with tenure.
- David Weiss, associate professor, Chemistry, with tenure.
