Promotions and tenure announced

The CU Board of Regents approved tenure for 11 faculty members at the June 4 meeting and promotions were awarded by Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak to 13 individuals for the 2008-2009 academic year.

The board will consider additional tenure awards at the August meeting.

Associate Professor (Promotion and Regent-granted tenure)

• Jeffrey P. Broker, associate professor, Biology, with tenure.
• Dick M. Carpenter, associate professor, Education, with tenure.
• Minette Church, associate professor, Anthropology, with tenure.
• Malinda “Lindy” Crawford, associate professor, Education, with tenure.
• Fernando Feliu-Moggi, associate professor, Languages and Cultures, with tenure.
• Lori James, associate professor, Psychology, with tenure.
• Michael Kisley, associate professor, Psychology, with tenure.
• Maria Steen, associate professor, Languages and Cultures, with tenure.
• Gregory Stock, associate professor, Business, with tenure. (newly hired)
