UCCS to host EduStat University

Robert Marzano, renowned education analyst lauded for his critical examinations of curriculum design and implementation strategy, will deliver the keynote address at EduStat University 2008 July 15-17 at UCCS.

Marzano will lead a discussion focused on helping educators build on the vision of data-driven decision making to create a comprehensive plan for system-wide practice in their school districts.

Hundreds of educators from school districts around the country will convene at EduStat University 2008 and will participate in learning focused case studies and hands-on workshops led by educational thought leaders and
school districts from around the nation. Working together, educators will use these sessions as a practical forum to develop dynamic plans using data-driven decision making to increase student achievement.

In 2004, SchoolNet launched the annual EduStat Summit, as a forum to bring together educators and policy-makers to address the impact of data-driven decision making, talent management, and other innovations in K-12 education on student performance.
