Tuition to increase. Full-time Colorado-resident undergraduate students at UCCS will pay $150 to $200 more tuition per semester beginning next fall, according to plans approved this week by the CU Board of Regents. (More)

Kane Family Scholarship expands. The Kane Family Foundation will expand its merit-based college scholarship program, one of the most generous in Colorado, to include students at four southern Colorado community colleges. (More)

College of Business receives Community Enhancement Award. The Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation awarded its 2007 Community Enhancement Award to the UCCS College of Business this week. The award recognizes people or organizations that contribute to the economic vitality of the greater Colorado Springs area. (More)

April Chancellor’s Forum date set.  The April Chancellor’s Forum is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the UC Theater. Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak will provide an update on the university budget and actions by the Colorado General Assembly. (More)

Faculty and Staff Games . . . what the heck? Everyone at the Recreation Center is very “hush-hush” about the specifics of the first-ever Faculty and Staff Games scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the UCCS Recreation Center. (More)

RecycleUCCS gets close to recycling goal. The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs is not the trashiest among more than 400 universities participating in a national college campus recycling contest, RecycleMania. (More)

Annual campus fete scheduled. The 2008 Campus Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. May 6 at the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theatre in University Hall. The event provides annual recognition for faculty, staff and students. Refreshments will be served.
